This paper introduces the findings clarified in the model test on the influence of the impeller design conditions on the performance of the breast shot water wheel.
We consider the effects of impeller design conditions and mounting position on their efficiency, and show that maintaining the body force between the blades contributes to improving the performance of the breast shot water wheel.
