【Report】Status of Takao ELIS Power Plant in Niimi City due to heavy rains in Western Japan

The power plant was installed in an agricultural canal that draws water from the Takahashi River, a first-class river, but there was damage from the inflow of earth and sand and straw at the installation site. (Photo 1) * Water intake location

Sediment and straw were also flowing into the dust device just above the power plant. (Photo 2)

Fortunately, because it was an open type fluid water turbine, there was no damage to the turbine impeller due to the flow of dust.

Currently, it has been restored and is operating smoothly.
